Studio 2.5 was a talkshow program aired by PTV Karachi back in early 90s. It was written by Anwar Maqsood & directed by late Mohsin Ali. The format of the show was simple, every week a topic was choosen
for discussion & experts come 1 by 1 to discuss on it. The main attraction of the show was ofcourse Anwar Maqsood’s script & brilliant performance by Moin Akhtar.
In this episode, Doctors & medical profession is the topic. Cast includes Moin Akhtar, Qazi Wjid, Lateef Kapadia, Ayaz Khan & an unknown female actress.

First, let me start off by saying that this isn’t the sort of video I normally put up online. When I’m working on a project (such as short films, concert videos, etc) I always have a project on the side that I do as a distraction. Alot of the times the things I’m working on get frustrating and tedious and I need something else to get my mind off the current project. At the same time, because it’s still editing, it keeps me in the mood and usually leads me to revelations about whatever I was originally working on.
This side project turned into something more, and I’m sharing it because Studio 60 was a tremendous show. A show that shouldn’t have left as early as it did. That said, realize that this was just for fun. Treat it as such.
A quick search on this site shows tons of Matt & Harriet videos, but they all seem extremely emotional and reflective to me. For such an upbeat and witty show I was surprised to see this. They’re not bad videos by any means, just not the things I remember looking back. Here’s hoping someone gets some enjoyment out of this little piece.
