Why do guys always say they want someone whos "out going"?

Then they always say they want someone who is intelligent. However, when ever we converse they say …"you’re brilliant I like the way your mind works" then after about a week or so they say "why you think you know everythang" whenever I point something out using basic logic. Why do men act this way?

Why are most brilliant discoveries made in elite universities?

Most of the brilliant researches and findings seem to come out of the same elite universities (Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, Oxford und so weiter). Is the teaching in them substantially superior to normal universities? Or is it their prestige that gives them more publicity in academic journals? They do get to pick the most brilliant people to begin with, but because the majority of people who apply are natives, there should be a lot of brilliant people left for other universities too. What do you think?

I always had this elitist view that i only listened to the legends such as the doors or pink floyd, and i always had a grudge against pop and the mainstream music. Cause as a musician I always tried to create the most brilliant piece of music, which is rock, and i felt like pop was trying to twist people into only liking simple music and not appreciate real art. But now i’m actually starting to like this kinda music, and a part of me doesn’t want to because its the complete opposite of the music i create or the ones i listen to?

It is if you like pop-punk (bands that only complain about girls dumping them or parents restricting them!)

Why the fuck do they have to brainwash people like that … it pisses me off.

They always make the WITH MAKEUP picture look brilliant of course, with the woman smiling and having professional photo lighting on their faces. Then, WITHOUT MAKEUP, they always show the picture of the woman as if she is really unhappy and has had the photo taken in a low lighted area or something.

Why can’t they ever show a fair picture? Woman aren’t that ugly without makeup and it pisses me off to see these Media tards always trying to say otherwise.

That’s how they sell their product! Since the product doesn’t ACTUALLY work all that well, they have to exaggerate how amazing it is.

Brilliant Tutorials closed there class room training in Dehli. When contacted there HO in Chennai- they say they are contacting Carrer Launchers- CL from where students will have lectures through vedio. WHat a Joke- they have wasted most precious time of students and what they intend to give are some pre-reccorded lessions that too at some CL centers. What they charged was for person to person teaching- and also there were to be lot of tests and test series- students have been deprived of all- and at this time of year students cant even go to other institutes-Who will solve their dobts- how will they practice for on line mock up tests all these questions have demotivated students even before taking exams. Students almost put their lives in BT’s hands and it has ditched. They should be sued for spoiling students careers. And what is disturbing is they are not putting massages at their website as to how they are going to help students.

You should ensure that all the parents who have put their children in this course will come together and fight it out till the last so that no other child will suffer in future.

Long story short: I’m a Senior English teacher, I have a brilliant student who is the most incredible writer I’ve come across in my 8 years of teaching, yet he simply refuses to work, and I really want him to display and realize his gift. Any thoughts? I’ve already tried talking to his parents, who are in full support and agree with me.

while i am not a brilliant writer, if i was, i would unnderstand why i would be lazy of doing some work.
what would get him motivated?
give him brochures and links to writing competitions where he can win money, prizes, scholarships, and a whole lot of confidence! there are a TON of legit writing competitioins that he can enter, suggest those to him!

Before you go any further, ask yourself what do you like? This is going to be something you do everyday. If you want to enjoy the rest of your life, you need to give this a great deal of thought. As I have been told so many times, you can have exactly the life you desire. Success can be described in many ways. Any body can have the life they choose, or it can be a hell on earth. - 2 Shure SM58 mics
- Cubase software + plugins
- Mixer
- Fast track pro audio interface

I’d like to get an actual signal chain example to get sound as brilliant as possible. I’d like to know which compression, equalization, filtering, etc. I’d use in order to get nice, powerful, solid, noise-less, recordings.
