I was just woundering because everyone says shes a brilliant singer, and you can tell she thinks she is herself. But on one of the episodes in season one when she tried to teach lilly (emily.o) to sing, she sang and she i tell you, she didn’t sound to good. So, what do you all think, is it just me???
I laughed when I heard this question! Miley is a singer that has her ups and downs. She has her moments on stage that make you wonder. Im sure she cant be that bad. She is big into entertaining people… and you tell me… are you entertained? Sure when she cracks or just plain sounds bad it could all just be apart of being nervous or losing her voice. We would never actually know but i guess we can only hope somebody the truth will be revealed. Good luck with this whole Miley thing!

No. I have a lot of musical knowledge.. she is not at all. She is a product of the studio.. but hey. Most don’t know what talent is nowadays, so by all means… watch her.. you’ll fit in..:S Lol.

Well….
Miley can sing but is not always good. Her naturally low voice makes it seem nasally when trying to reach higher notes when she sings live. She hasnt learned to have that much control over her voice which leads it to sounds wobbly at times. A lot of the time when she sings live she has a backing track with her vocals on it that is a studio version to make the performance better. So no she isnt that great when she isnt in the studio and her voice isnt being made good.

No talent beyond a school talent contest. Just used whatever pathways she had for fame.
I wouldn’t mind if she wrote the music, lord knows a lot of the artists I listen to can’t sing but she does neither at all/very well.

I think she’s pretty good. Nothing mindblowing but she does have a nice voice. But I’ve seen that episode, and I know it’s fictional but if I was friends with Miley Stewart I’d hate her for how full of herself she is in it…like "I would lend you my voice if I could"…jeez. My little sister would probably tell you she’s the best singer in the world which I don’t agree with, but I can’t say she doesn’t have a nice voice.
EDIT: To the person above me, she does actually write her own music. Not the Hannah Montana stuff, but most of her own music she wrote.

She’s okay as a singer. No joke. Her songs are just average, but her voice suits well at country music as someone said.
